France Bigras and Patrick Campeau bought Captiva Farms in May of 2014 and have dedicated their lives to making the Ranch the best place to enjoy all that nature has to offer.
By entering the gates of their 450 acre horseback trail riding ranch, guests enter into a world that slows down to a horse’s heartbeat.
We keep our horses extremely healthy, by following a rigorous industry-leading checklist, which includes regular grooming, washing, checking, and various other forms of inspection and maintenance. Captiva Farm’s standards of care have been adopted by major horseback riding associations.
Our Horses are allowed to run wild every night on over 450 acres of beautiful farm land. This allows them to safely fulfill their own exercise, stimulation and social needs. By the time they wake up and are ready for guests, they are physically, socially and psychologically nourished.
