Captiva Farms reserves the right to cancel rides in extreme weather conditions.
Access to the Waiting area are included with the purchase of an equestrian activity; however,
they are not open to the general public for safety reasons.
Captiva Farms is a Private Family Operated Commercial Business and it's Not a Public Park, please do not visit the site without a reservation.
It is required that each client be able to understand oral instructions in either French or English.
Clients must not depend on a friend or family member for translation; this is to ensure the safety of each rider.
Introductory session ($25 )
A 30 minute introduction to Captiva’s horses and methods before heading out on the trail. This is required of any riders new to our farm or with little or no Western riding experience.
Adult trail ride ($70 )
1 hour trail ride, Riders 18 years and older.
Youth trail ride ($65 )
1 hour trail ride, reduced rate for youth 10 - 17 years old. These young riders will require the introductory session as a refresher before going on each trail ride. Riders younger than 10 can enjoy a lesson in the arena or a pony walk [see below].

Pony rides ($45 )
For our smallest riders, 3 to 7 years old
Riding lessons ($70)
A 1 hour lesson in our fenced riding ring. Available to riders 8 years old and up.
Summer Day Camp ($570 ) (Taxes are included in the Prices below)
A 5-day camp, Mondays through Fridays, during the summer months for youth aged 9 to 14 (8 after passing a paid evaluation test to check if they have the strength to control the horse). Campers will learn about horse care, grooming, tacking, as well as take horseback riding lessons each day and trail rides throughout the week as their level allows. The campers will also spend time with the animals, learning to care for them on a daily basis. On Friday afternoon, the campers put on a show. Each camper receives a Captiva t-shirt and a certificate of completion at the end of the week.
